So I am browsing looking at weight loss tips and stuff. I find this http://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php

Which basically shows what your target day is that you will reach your goal. I found it interesting.. basically shows me I will be my target weight on Dec 29th this year. but i figured i would share it.

really cool! Looks like this date next year I should reach my goal which would be a 3 year journey..however, staying fit should never end and I hope this time for me it never does. thanks for sharing!

Don't forget that this doesn't take into consideration that you should be eating less as you lose weight.

June 27, to hit goal of 170 lbs. at 1200 Calories a day. I would be ok with that give or take a few weeks.

I'm not really that worried that it will take X amount of years to get to my goal weight. For one thing, it's not like I'll be at my current weight all that time - I'll be going down (hopefully) and reaching milestones all during that time, and feeling better. For another, I'm sure my weight loss will no more conform in a linear way to this than it does to MFP's "in five weeks you would weigh..." ;) Well, maybe a little more, as MFP only utilizes the specific day to make the predictions, but I'll have weeks where I'm surprised by a big loss, other weeks where I just stay the same or even gain a hair, so...I'll get there when I get there and will try to enjoy life all the way.

Interesting. It is kind of what I already expected. It is going to take awhile.

It showed me losing 2.5 lbs a week at 1200 calories a day. Unfortunately that's about 2 pounds more a week than I'm losing!

Thank you. It works fine for me and agrees with what my other phone app predicts.

Says I won't reach my GW of 140 for another 2 years. Nice site, but not exactly motivational.

Seems like this is all the motivation a person would need. It would kick me in the *kitten*.

Lately I never change mine. I have 160 calorie deficit. June 6 2015. If I try I guess. I could make it lol. Food and weights will make me late.

Doesn't really work as I wouldn't continue eating the same amount of calories once I lost weight.

Just put my numbers in, set for moderately active, 47 y/o, woman, 5.5', 1200/day and it shows i'll steadily gain weight? Am I reading this correct, whoa, I just lost another pound this morning and I had 1500 day before yesterday and 1300 yesterday. I just woke up and may be seeing things.

    edit: set for "woman" now.

@uvi5 I think your deficit should be a positive number, otherwise it's like saying a double negative. (IE my deficit is -500 = My surplus is +500)
