Today was my first full day itch my Fitbit Charge HR! As of 5:00 I have done 19,631 steps! Im sure it's just my beginner excitedness! A colleague of mine already found me and challenged me. He's extreme competitive. It will either motivate me or extremely p*ss me off, lol!0 -

Made goal again today! Thought for sure the holiday was going to mess with me but I did it! Steps today: 23,119

I'm in! I've a fitbit one. Sometimes I find it attainable sometimes not. I find weekends are the worst. Hubby always saying "You don't have to work out every day", "You can have some of this or that".0

I did 11682 on Tuesday but only 5316 as I was absolutely exhausted yesterday. I basically came home from work, made supper and went to bed. I feel much better today so hopefully I can hit my 10000 today.0

it is SOO difficult for me to get a lot of steps in one day. I have a sedentary job. Before I started trying to increase my steps, I was lucky if I got 2500 steps in one day. I don't count steps during exercise, only daily regular activity or walking on purpose.
There are no steps at my office (one floor) and it is a tiny building, nowhere to walk outside.
My only option is to jog in place at my desk once in awhile or in the bathroom stall. So that's what I've been doing. After work I try to do that in front of the TV for a bit and then later at night before bed. So far I've increased my daily steps from 2500 to 5500 but it is still very difficult. I don't know how I'd EVER reach 10,000 steps a day unless I got a new job or quit mine so I could stay home and walk all day long. The only time I've ever hit 10,000 steps was when I was out ALL day shopping at outlet stores.0 -
I'm a teacher so a lot of my time is spent in front of a classroom and I don't get much steps in walking around checking work. What I do to get my 10000 is make it a mission after work to work to a supermarket (like a stroll in the evening)
I also have a wii and do the jogging on it, either first thing in the morning before I start getting ready for work or if I can't get up in the evening time and I do not stop until I clock 10000 on my device.0 -
Get steps in wherever you can... I march in place or dance while loading and unloading the dishwasher, or folding laundry... I use a Fitbit, so it counts all the time I'm actively moving.0
