I'm just starting and am in need of some friends.

I'm afraid I'm going this quite and utterly alone. In fact, as I'm typing this my brother is eating cheetos on the couch 2 feet away from me, but I just got back from the gym and ate some pretzels. I can't wait to see some progress!

Once he sees some progress and I'm sure he'll be enticed to join too! People can think what they want, but YOU are taking control! Don't let someone else have you power! I'm proud of you for taking initiative! You have my support, and THANK GOODNESS you won't have cheeto fingers! :)

At Celebrate Recovery they have groups for food related issues, or addictions/compulsions . Check them out, then you will see you arent alone in your recovery from food!!! :)
    Check out local churches!

I understand exactly what you mean! I have been making healthy life changes, but my family doesn't want to join in. Hang in there because it will be worth it in the end! If you need support, I am always good for words of encouragement.
