MFP claims 1 hour of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu burns ~900 calories

I'm guessing this is an error. Wanted to spotlight it for the MFP staff.

Anyone know of a site with a more accurate number?

  You are going to find only estimates online. If you want an accurate number, you are going to need to invest in a hear rate monitor, preferably with a chest strap.

  It sounds about right. Especially if your school does a 10 to 15 minute high intensity warm up.
