You could try a pre workout drink like C4- I use it and really enjoy it. $20 a month

Discipline.....hate to say so bluntly but you can't use "tired" as an excuse. The hardest part is starting, once you get the blood flowing it is easier. Once it is a habit, you don't even think about it. Good luck

you don't have to have motivation or energy to go to the gym, you just have to go. I have zero motivation to go to work each morning, but i go anyways. the gym is the same thing, just go.

Do you have a workout program or routine? Are you going running, weight lifting, cardio? The biggest thing is to get started. You won't workout like a professional athlete on day one but keep at it. Day by day try to improve your performance and form. You'll find that the human body is a wondrously, adaptive mechanism. If you stay persistent and committed, you'll either become an athlete and/or look like one.

It can be SO HARD to get started, especially if your energy levels are so low!

Basically, I find that mind games seem to work for me.

    1. I'll tell myself, "Just exercise for five minutes. If you want to stop after 5 minutes, you can." (once you get started, you'll find that you can usually keep going. But even if you only exercise for 5 minutes, it's more than zero)
    2. Go straight from work to the gym. Stopping home first is the kiss of death if you are feeling unmotivated.
    3. Make a pact with a friend that you'll both do something you've been dreading... for you, it's exercise. Your friend may choose something else.
    4. I'll tell myself, "you are already so tired. Exercising couldn't possibly make you any MORE tired!" which is totally true, and you usually end up actually feeling better after you exercise.
    5. If you are tired AFTER work, go to bed earlier, get up earlier, and exercise before work.
    6. It doesn't have to be the gym for it to be exercise. You can go for a walk, go for a bike ride, do a workout video, shoot some hoops.

Also, you can try changing your diet a bit first - make sure you cut out all the junk and processed foods. Having better fuel for your body may help you feel a bit better, improve your energy enough that you can motivate yourself to the gym!
