One of the best cardio and calorie burning exercises

Cycling gives you tremendous bang for the buck. Spin and cycling will deliver serious cardio and calorie burn benefit with very little wear and tear. I burn 1200 to 1300 calories during 1 hour advanced spin class. Also, just riding casually gives more benefit than you think. Buy a nice bike and you won't regret it.

    1200-1300 calories in one hour seems a lot. Are you sure of this? I thought that a 1 hour spinning class would normally burn around 600cal.

    Wow! I take a spin class 4 times a week and have never burned that many calories. In my hour class I do burn about 600. My 45 minute class has a different instructor and she is not very intense so I may only burn about 400. I love it though and it definitely is great cardio.

    I think your calorie burns are a bit overinflated...

    I've love cycling but unless you are an elite cyclist I very much doubt you are burning anywhere near that amount.
