HI Everyone- I have a 13 yr old son that had a heart condition- for unknown reasons he is very tiny-
with his bone test he measures 9yrs old and is 60 pounds- I am trying to bulk him up- he does drink a boost with extra calories- his dr says he is fine and will live a normal life- but we have run every test and have no clue why he is so tiny- any suggestions would be appreciated
thank you

I don't think anyone here will be able to help you. If you don't trust your doctor in saying he's fine, could you see a different doctor, or get referred to some sort of specialist?0

This
I would not trust my child's medical issues to be solved by a community of internet strangers.0 -
There's nothing wrong with being small. As long as he's healthy, it may be counterproductive to try to "bulk him up" with calories he doesn't need.
I would certainly seek a second opinion. If that doctor agrees that he's healthy, then his height is just part of who he is.0 -

Thank you for responding- I think my question was taken out of text, I do not want medical advice, nor do I need any, and I don't believe I asked for medical advice, the pediatritian and specialist both suggested I give him a high protein/calorie suppliment such as a protein powder I was looking for suggestions on a protein powder- I have gone to GNC and got a protein powder from them,0
