hey
I've just purchased some CLA tablets from myprotein and I was just wondering how many to take daily? Some have said 2 with each meal and some have 1 3 times a day.
Thanks in advance

I recently started taking CLA. I started taking them as the bottle indicates (1 pill 3x a day, with a meal) and got violently ill. The pills made my horribly upset. I lost weight, but only because I couldn't eat.
What does the bottle say? It should have instructions on it.
I'd try taking one pill once a day, and gradually increase. I'm starting that in the next day or so, once I can put something in my stomach and not want to double over. Even water hurt!0 -

....why on earth would you take something if it made you sick the first time around?
Unless it's under a doctor's instruction...in which case contacting the doctor ASAP would be the next thing to do.

From Wikipedia: "In healthy humans, CLA and the related conjugated linolenic acid (CLNA) isomers are bioconverted from linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid, respectively, mainly by Bifidobacterium bacteria strains inhabiting the gastrointestinal tract. However, this bioconversion may not occur at any significant level in those with a digestive disease, gluten sensitivity, and/or dysbiosis."
It's possible you are having these troubles due to a digestive issue? You may not be able to process it if you lack the bacteria(most likely not) or have another digestive issue.0 -
Why don't they do anything ? All the reviews were very positive stating they help with fat loss and increase in metabolism and smaller appetite? Well I'll try them and see I guess0

Skip the pills
Eat less, move more
I've heard of quite a few people getting sick and in abdominal pain from (extra) CLA0 -

Nope, NOTHING increases fat loss or metabolism.
The things that decrease appetite are also basically speed and will give you insomnia or heart palpitations.0
