Some people like to, but if I had to do that, I wouldn't bother with the program at all (which is why it took me so long to start. I always thought I had to give up "junk," and I <3 junk).

I couldn't give up sweets. I eat a belt sander brownie every night with artic zero or I fit a donut in my macros. If I were to give it up completely i would end up binging eventually so I make something fit every day.

Nope :) I just ate some of the Easter Nestle crunch eggs. They fit within my calories and I love them so I'm going to just spread the bag out over the next month and have one or two a day.

I feel this is the reason so many fail at diets. They think of foods as good and bad or junk and cut all the bad food from their diet. Then in 2-4 weeks they are craving macca's or kfc or chocolate or pizza etc

They fall off the wagon and don't get back on. They quit because it's too hard.

But if you just eat a little of the bad foods, you keep your sanity and stick to the weight loss plan.

Over the past 3 days I have eaten a 600g dark chocolate egg. All with in my calorie limit.

You can eat everything you have always eaten, just eat smaller portions of them.

Eventually you will probably take a critical look at the things you eat, but it is not mandatory. You will find that 300 calories of veggies are a lot more filling than 300 calories of sugar.
