Not technically new - but trying a new approach (so I thought a re-introduction was in order!)

Hey everyone
So I've finally decided to give up on 1200 calorie diets and excessive cardio. I'm no longer striving to get to a super low goal weight. So I thought a re-introduction would be a way to connect with some new people who might share some similar goals or a similar mentality.
My new approach is to follow IIFYM (as a former bulimic I find this way of eating is really good for me - I'm eating 90% unprocessed type stuff and a treat in moderation here and there), lift some heavy weights 3 x per week, do some pilates, yoga and rockclimbing each week and focus on better health.
As for my health and fitness goals, they're still being decided but I'm leaning towards lowering my body fat % to somewhere around 20%, doing some chin ups and being able to do my plyo work with a bit better form
I'd love to connect with some people with a similar mentality (choosing love over fear, health over weight - all that kind of feel good mumbo jumbo!) or who are on a similar journey (training or nutrition wise).

Well done on your approach to fitness nutrition! I think that common sense approach will yield the results you are after!
