Yeah right, that's it ..imma asking for a friend...

So lifting and hemmerhoids...what's the score? Not painful but suddenly present ..do you keep going with lifting or stop until they recede..is there anything in particular to avoid?

Look I'm a mother, things happen...I refuse to be ...ok I am a little :blush:

    Well, my *ahem* friends who are also prone to those kinds of issues haven't reported any increased incidence with lifting, but would most likely put squats on hold until they had resolved.

    Those same friends do tell me that regular application of a little zinc oxide cream does have preventative benefits.

    Dont be pushing out through your bum, keep that core tight. Breath out through your mouth. It aint child birth.

    My friends and I do SL deadlifts which don't seem to be prone to the same concerns.

    I would say stop any lift that feels like it's causing added pressure or discomfort until the thing subsides.
