Hi Everyone,
My name is Kate. I'm 67, want to lose 10 lbs and eat more healthily for inflammation reduction. I just started using the food diary, and I think it would be easiest for me to have all the foods under breakfast and check them off during the day. That would mean no duplicate foods having to be entered for the 3 meals and snacks, and less scrolling.
Has anyone else done this? See any drawbacks?
Does anyone know h ow to move a food from lunch to breakfast without re-entering it?
Thanks! -- Kate

No, you would have to enter them under each heading separately. You can't just move them down.

I usually pre-log my entire day in the mornings and if something changes I just edit that entry.

I usually enter my data on a computer versus the phone app, and if I click on the name of the food item, it gives me a popup box with the option to change quantity or which meal it is assigned to - so it is pretty easy to do from the computer.

Also I usually eat the same foods during the same meals, so it is easier for me to enter separate meals. That way the list pops up with foods I have for breakfast instead of foods I have for every meal. However if I decide to eat something for breakfast that I usually eat for dinner, there is a line at the top that says "add your favorite for "Breakfast" and you can click the arrow next to "breakfast" and change it to "all meals". I hope that helps. :-)
