I'm stuck

I've lost 28lbs from Jan 2015 to now but I haven't reached my goal weight yet. I'm about 10lbs away and I'm stuck. Any ideas on how to get last 10lbs off? Thanks

    When we are stuck we can do something that shocks our system to awaken it. I used to do leg presses at 800 lbs. on the smith machine...three or four of them would shock my system into moving again. (trainer promoted the behavior and it worked)
  • Try increasing the intensity of your cardio not duration.

    That's what helped me break through my plateau.

    As you get leaner/closer to goal, you need to maintain the same calorie deficit in order to maintain the same weight loss rate. Since your now lighter than before, unless you recalculate your goals, the deficit continues to shrink, and your loss rate slows.

    I recommend you do this every 10-15 lbs or 1 month as a minimum, whichever comes 1st. I do mine every 2 weeks.
