self-proclaimed food addict starting MFP for the first time. Goal 1 to change poor breakfast and snack choices Goal 2 pack lunch for work Goal 3 start 10 mins on treadmill 4-5 times a week.
Any advice on how to get off Coke soda? Drink 1 16oz bottle a day, 3 on a bad day.
Also how to avoid foods in my fridge that my 3 & 7 yr old eat? I have to shop for them, my husband and me but the temptations are always in my fridge.

I find that giving up something completely makes it harder for me and i usually end up binge eating. you can have any food, as long as its in moderation. You can always make healthy eating a family affair. I know when i was growing up we had no choice. it was either we eat what my mom made us or we dont eat. Now for me, I got lucky. My husband is not picky and eats pretty much anything i make. My kids are a little more picky (i have an autistic 4 year old ), but i always make sure there is atleast one thing on the plate i know they will eat.
