Where inches matter

If you are working out and also trying to loose weight, what areas do you look at for your inches to go down? For me the only area seems to be the hips and waist. The rest seem to be growing or about the same.

Everybody's body is different. People will gain and lose from different spots depending on their build and body type. It's pretty much genetic. You can't spot-reduce, even though personal trainers like to make money by telling you that you can. Your body will choose where the weight comes off easily from, and where those stubborn spots are.
For me, I tend to lose easily on my upper body, but my hips, thighs and stomach remain stubbornly flabby.0 -
guess it's all relative. I think the common stubborn parts are the tummy, lower back. Perhaps measure where you are worse.. I lost a lot in my arm as I was losing fat, but now I'm doing upper body work and they are growing. newbie gains lol.0
