Going on a cruise in August getting ready

Hello,
My name is Amanda and I have used fitness pal very little in the past but now I am going to be hardcore. I gained a lot of weight doing fertility treatments. I would like to get my weight back down. I currently weight 228 ( I started at 250 ) and my ultimate goal is 160. I have been smaller then that and I looked terrible. My husband and I are going on a cruise in August so I would really like to get close to my goal by then but it may be pushing it to get that low by then. My other problem is I had my gallbladder removed in December of 2014 and there are certain foods I cannot have anymore example lettuce! So that's my goal and journey so far

Why can't you have lettuce? I haven't had a gallbladder for over 3 years and enjoy lettuce pretty regularly.
congratulations on your loss so far! You could certainly lose 1-2 lbs a week between now and August following calories in, calories out. losing 68 pounds by August is probably pushing it too much though!

Well I have tried a very small amount of lettuce and well lets say I have to potty about an hour later. For some reason I just am not processing it well. I can eat cabbage and spinach leaves but the lettuce still is giving me trouble. Yeah I think the 68 is pushing it too maybe 180 to 185 by then.0
