Eat a carb and protein together, any suggestions??

So I hear a lot of talk about eat a protein and carb in one setting, so what do you guys do? I do eat healthy snacks throughout the day, mostly fruits like an apple or an orange. What are you guys eating for snacks that incorporate both a protein and carb??

    Protein shake made with fruit.
    Cheese and whole grain crackers.
    Egg on a whole grain muffin with some cheese.
    Pizza muffin - whole grain muffin with reduced fat cheese, turkey pepperoni, and chopped tomatoes - bake until cheese is melted.

    I go simple. Apple and cheese stick. Hard boiled egg and granola bar. Raw almonds and fruit.

    Cheddar & apple melt - reduced fat cheddar, sliced green apple, whole grain bread + toasted = delicious!

    whole wheat crackers ( special k crackers are good fiber and carb) with smart balance peanut butter (high protein and omega 3)
    weight watcher light cheese stick with an apple
    boiled egg and whole wheat toast (good breakfast idea)
    greek yogurt (high protein) with 1/4 cup low fat granola (good for fiber and carbs)

    What I just had.....

    1 scoop whey
    1 cup of milk
    1 granola bar
    1 banana
    2 tbsp cinnamon raisin peanut butter
