hi all .. so I'm back ... needing surgery on my left ankle (too much sport when young is BAD for you hahaha !) having recovered from surgery on my right .. and looking to lose a few pounds .. BUT .. what should I be doing ??? ..... Answers please below .... I want to combine some cardio that doesn't impact on my ankle .. and some weights .. any ideas gratefully accepted .... Mike

Hey I had to stop kickboxing due to torn ligaments in my ankle, followed by another injury on it causing my ankle to keep slipping the minute I try to run.
Cardio wise i started to do jumps with one foot whilst holding weights and raising above my head. bit girlish but thought myight give you some ideas.
Also swiming..... leg raises and leg lifts....

Caloric deficit for weight loss. Exercise for health. Swimming?0

Boxing with light handweights, you can even do it sitting down and still get your heart rate up.0

Lane swim! Amazing cardio and moves the whole body but gentle on injuries.0
