Fitness Double Dipping

Soooo, I'm new to mfp and just trying to figure out how to log in exericise and steps without feeling like I'm double dipping. I've been wearing my fitbit and attending zumba classes but feel like when I add in my zumba, it seems like its adding exercise twice, once for steps and then the zumba class. Can anyone explain the best way to accurately track? Should I be tracking both or take off my fitbit during zumba?

If you have your fitbit set to sync with MFP yes if you log your exercise you are double dipping so you have a choice...delete your fitbit line and add in zumba or don't add in your zumba and rely on your fitbit.0

Once you sync your fitbit to MFP, a new time log should show up when you log your zumba, if you put the time you start, mfp won't log your step calories during that period but your fitbit will still register the amount of steps you took and the will go towards your goal.0
