Zero-calorie flavored tea?

My mom got some strawberry flavored tea that says it's zero calorie. I'm kind of interested, but I've heard so many bad comments about them being bad for you and causing weight gain. I'm just curious, would having one with lunch only for today have any effect on me, or should I just forget about it altogether?

All of my teas are zero calories. It's just a teabag-it's all the other stuff people add in that adds calories, like milk or honey.

Who dumps on tea as being bad for you? It's mostly water, which is hydration.

I thought tea was zero calories until you add sugar, honey, milk, etc...

Are you talking about real tea or some instant powered tea? Some of the powered teas had 0 calorie sweeteners in them that people have sensitives to and some study's suggest might hurt weight loss. In the end, 0 calories is 0 calories to me.

Eating too many calories causes weight gain - not drinking tea. Enjoy your tea! I am having some lovely flavored ice tea right now! Yum!
