PEOPLE WHO HAVE ELLIPTICAL MACHINES

My husband and I are going to be getting an elliptical machine and we were looking at this one:

It's the new nordic track best buy model. Does this really seem like a good buy??

    Yes, this is an excellent model. I have a nordic track from 2005 and I LOVE it!! It gives you a good workout and they also come with programs to help you out and a timer and will tell you how many fat calories and calories you have burned. I think that it is a good choice and will last you a while!!! :smile:

    Mine is just a $200 one from Wal*Mart and I LOVE it!

    Yeah we're really interested in the programs that come with it. Are they useful?

    Yes! What they do is you pick a program say aerobic, and it gives you a beginning speed then after a certain amount of time bumps up the speed and the resistance and you stay at a high resistance and speed then bumps you back down to cool down, I find it very useful because without it I would stay at the same pace and resistance the wole time!! :laugh:

    Thank you for all of your suggestions! My husband and I did a lot of research on the product that I had posted and it turned out that most of the reviews from customers came out negative after they had had it over a month.

    We ended up upgrading to another machine and we're headed down to King of Prussia this Friday to pick it up!!
