Which skin caliper technique do you use? I have tried two different ones and they were both between 22-24%, and a scale that I have sits at about 21%. The staffers at my gym say that seems really high...

The scales are very in-accurate. The calipers are only as reliable as the person testing it. Did the staff mark the areas with a measuring tape? What sites on your body did they measure? At the end of the day body fat cannot be measured accurately unless you have specialised machinery such as a bod pod. The skin folds are simply a reference point for you to.make progress against. So if the sum of all folds was 34mm, then in 6 weeks time they against re 25mm. You've lost 10 mm of body fat. That method used in conjunction with a set of good weighing scales and measurements will be a far better indication of fatloss than anything else. Hope this clears up any confusion with the discrepancies.if you naive any other questions ok ease ask0
