Reactive Hypoglycemia and numbers

I have no problem keeping it at 1600 calories but I often go over the allotted protein and fiber as I have reactive hypoglycemia so I eat a lot of protein and fiber throughout the day. Is that an issue for weight loss? I'm not talking huge numbers.

probably not, be simpler to state the actual numbers.0

I also have reactive hypoglycemia and I want to share with you what has worked for me. After struggling for many years, I finally found a eating regimen that keeps me completely symptom free. I completely avoid all food until 11 am, then eat 3 balanced meals the rest of the day. I found if I eat breakfast, I struggle to keep my sugars stable all day. But if I skip breakfast I feel great! I don't know if it will work for you but it's worth a try.0

I, too, have reactive hypoglycemia. I stay on a schedule and make sure to get enough protein.
On a typical day, I have a Greek yogurt at 8:30AM. A handful of almonds at 11AM. Lunch (usually half a tuna sandwich and an apple) between noon and 1. Hummus and vegetables between 5 and 6PM and dinner (meat, chicken or fish) at 8PM.
I stay under 1400 calories per day.0 -
Thank you. Protein does seem to be the key.0
