I'm just about to turn 30 and finally get that I cannot expect my poor body to keep up if I do not treat it with the respect I deserve. I've worked hard at every other aspect of my life why should this be any different. Although I am ready I exsist with the reality of anxiety and depression and it can make it more difficult to self motivate. I am reaching out as I have not tried something like this before. Be my friend, even if at first I can seem a little like Eeyore ;)

Ill be your friend, Colleen! I suffer from undiagnosed depression and I get really down on myself. I'm 35 now and I also have realized that its pretty important to try to get my body in better shape. I'm really scared that I might have done such irreversible damage and screwed myself up permanently. I'm probably going to get diabetes. I've gone for months or years at a time of regular exercising and then depression for months or years at a time and I do nothing. All of 2014 I didn't work out once and I drank about 5 days a week. I had a really bad year. This year I've been exercising 3 times a week, I decided I wasn't going to be one of those people who only goes in January for a New Years resolution then drops out. I'm trying to cut back on the sinking, like one or two days a week but I still have t been able to go more than 2 weeks no beer. Ugh .... Anyway! That's a bit about me. Maybe we can be friends, maybe were not that much different, what do you think?
