I Need Some Motivation...

So I have just started MyFitnessPal and I have already shed a few pounds. My problem is that I'm starting to give up on weight loss All of the words from my past from people that berated me are building up. Sometimes I just find myself skipping a meal for no apparent reason even if I'm hungry. Music normally helps in this situation but I haven't listened to music for a week. I used to every day. Please don't leave negative comments. Thx

Why are you giving up? Don't you want to lose weight? Do you like being the weight you're at?
So. If music helps lift your spirits. Why are you not listening to music?
You have to want this more than you want anything. You have to want it. That's all there is to it. You can't expect others to motivate you to do something you don't really want to do yourself.
I had to get to the point where I was sick of seeing pictures of myself looking like a fat blob. Like this one:

I grew tired of hiding behind my children in pictures, like this one:

But right now I'm happily transforming from THIS
To THIS (Current)
And someday soon, maybe by the end of this year, or by this time next year, I will be THIS
BECAUSE I WANT IT MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.
Stop making excuses - stop having pity parties. Just DO it.

Wow...thanks so much!! I guess I was just depressed...I hate the weight I'm at right now but now I'm finding more and more that encourages me to change who I am. I'm also part of an agricultural club and we just went on a 2 hour trail ride by horse through a beautiful patch of woods. It was a beautiful day and the ride helped lift my spirits tremendously!! It's things like that and people like you that open my eyes and slap me in the face about how stupid I'm being. Thank you so much0

Good..what a beautiful way to spend the day. I took my dog on a 2 mile hike back to a "secret" lake in the woods yesterday (not really a secret but hardly anyone goes there, lol) and it was marvellous. Hubby and I are taking our bikes out this afternoon for the first time this season - first nice day now that the snow is all gone - sunshine and fresh air does WONDERS.0

Ignore what everyone has told you in the past. The only person that should be concerned with your appearance, besides you, is your doctor. Other than that, it's all just an opinion from poor sources.
Make the change to be healthy. Losing weight will just be the bonus.0 -
