30 Day Shred Question

I'm on L1 - D5 of 30DS and it just doesn't feel difficult enough. I mean, some of the moves burn, but I'm not getting sore muscles from them. Should I go ahead and move up to level 2?

I did about 5 days as well and started to "not feel it" anymore so today I am moving to Level 2. As a matter of fact, I actually did a different dvd to change it up a few days ago. I did Jackie Warner's circuit training with weights 40 minute routine and was burning and sore for 2 days afterward so that's when I knew I had to go to the next level w/ 30 DS.0

How heavy are the weights you are using? I started each level with 3lbs and moved up to 5lbs when I found it was getting too easy (usually 5 days with lighter weights, 5 days with heavier). I'm just thinking that if you move on to level 2 you might find you get bored of the program before the 30 days are over. I'd suggest changing weights instead of levels for now0

Are you going off the video? That's great you're not sore and me thinks it's about ramping up not over extending your body in the beginning. I like the 30 day plan. Personally, I try to avoid injuries b/c then I can't do a thing or keep up w/ my 3 children-0

I stopped feeling L1 after about 5 days as well. I moved on to L2 and I am glad I did! I was getting bored of L1 too. L2 is pretty difficult and way more like-able than L1! If you're bored already or feel like you're not getting a good workout, move on to L2. You can always come back to L1 later. I came back to L1 later when I didn't feel like working as hard using L2/L3.0

Thanks for all the input! I'm currently using 5lb weights for everything except the side lunge w/shoulder raise (I use 3 lbs on that one because those muscles are my weak ones!). I'm not sure I want to up the weights to anything beyond 5 lbs. If I move onto Level 2, I'll stay there for around 15 days (give or take). In all honesty, I've had this 30DS video for such a long time, but I've never done it beyond 21 days. With that being said, my body is so used to L1 and I'm extremely bored with it!0
