For someone that doesn't really enjoy breakfast foods I would like to know if anyone else eats dinner foods at breakfast.

I'm eating a chickpea salad right now. Garlic breath in the morning. ;)

Sometimes I eat meat for breakfast (roast, sausages, breaded cutlets...). Still haven't tried fish, but sooner or later

I do. I almost always eat eggs with whatever else I'm having though. This morning I had leftover baked sage chicken livers with my eggs and whole wheat english muffin. 61g of protein....I was happy lol. I usually have lots of veggies with my breakfast.

Too sweet of a breakfast like pastries and cereals make me keep wanting sweets through the day. I'm better about that now, but it still kind of pushes me to it... Savory foods are a definite better choice for me for breakfast.

Why not? The body doesn't distinguish the food as being "breakfast". It just digests what's put into it. Timing of food is also pretty irrelevant.

    Food is food.
I eat whatever I feel like any time of the day. I had a sandwich this morning. I like soup for breakfast sometimes.

I used to but everyone frowned upon it growing up. I would rather have salmon, veggies and rice for breakfast than cereal or oatmeal.

If I have leftovers or extra ingredients I need to go through before they go bad then sure.

If you don't like breakfast foods, then why bother eating them? Eat what you like.

I work nights, so I have my "breakfast" around 5pm, which is dinner for the rest of my family.

"Breakfast foods" are a capitalist conspiracy invented by "breakfast food" companies to sell cereal. I once wrote an article for the Uni paper on the subject (after my mum criticised my turkey, cranberry, cream cheese and lettuce roll as "not breakfast food" and I pointed out it was exactly the same food groups as a ham, cheese and tomato croissant for a crapload less calories.

All rants aside, the concept of breakfast food is a load of rubbish. I eat what I want for the first meal, the last couple weeks it's been cottage cheese and smoked salmon on corn thins, I often have sandwiches, wraps, leftovers from dinner...

I eat whatever I want whenever I want it. I really hate breakfast food for breakfast but love them for dinner (bacon egg and cheese on bagel, yum!) and lunch. I like salads, chinese food, and sandwiches... That or nothing.

Most typical breakfast food are full of carbs (not saying they're evil), sugar, and fat so I avoid them except on Sunday for our family brunch. Waffles, pancakes and such leave me feeling hungry in about an hour.

Yep. I just had stuffed zucchini and grape leaves for breakfast, and last night had cereal for dinner and milk and cookies for lunch. Eat whatever you want. Breakfast foods are more of a tradition than a nutritional necessity.
