Does anyone do resistance band workouts? I try to do it at home but they get boring! I get a lot of the workouts from youtube. I haven't done it enough to notice a difference, but they definitely work your arms!

I do a lot of resistance workouts. I have a bowfkex and it is all restance band stuff. I also use bands by bodylastics. They have some great workouts. I try to mix it up and I also use dumbbells too. If you need info let me know and feel free to add me

Hey thanks. I just use the single resistance band. Its not connected to anything it just has grip type handle things at the end of it. I'm a weakling so it definitely gives me a workout it just gets boring and I think i'm over extending my wrists.

I used to do it tons, but really only for shoulder strength now (bad shoulders). Most elite non-sprinter swimmers spend about 50% of their 'dry land' exercise w/ bands and vasa trainers since it allows for longer, lean muscles that won't bulk you up.

I don't know if you have the funds, but if you really enjoy that type of workout, pilates machines and vasa trainers (basically a bench on a pole that slides) add tons of movement and a bit more fun to the workout. They also can provide a solid cardio workout.

Go here to see what I'm talking about:
