Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit, exercise is for health. You only have 14 pounds left to lose, so setting your goal to lose half a pound per week is appropriate. For exercise switch it up or simply find an activity you enjoy. Exercise doesn't have to be cardio or going to the gym. Walking, hiking, biking, yoga, dance, etc. are all exercise.0 -
Hey Kuby0518, I know the struggle! Best thing to do is just to start off small. If you set unrealistic goals you're more likely to give up quicker when you don't see the results straight away if you have a dog, try taking him for a walk every evening after work (or in the morning if it's easier). Just try a mile, it's amazing how quickly you'll get it done. Then once you start gaining confidence and determination, start jogging, and before you know it, you'll WANT to go for a run, you'll get yourself into a habit. I also recommend yoga - try Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga on YouTube, great kick start. Hope this helps x0

I'm curious, you say you lost weight with this app already, but your ticker says you haven't lost weight and this was you very first post. Those don't add up.0 -
I said I lost it WITHOUT the app & want to keep going (a friend suggested it to me last week) and maybe help others along the way0

MFP has helped keep me on track and I would definitely say without it, my weightloss would not have been as efficient!
I've been using my fitness pal for about 4 months. I have a 152 day streak!!! Woo! I've lost 48 pounds in four months so far with MFP.
Anyone feel free to add me!!0 -
That's amazing!!0
