I can not believe I am able to say this. Today, I saw my goal weight on the scale. 130 pounds. It has been just under 18 months since I started losing weight, and about 15 months since I started using MFP. I browsed through the forums and came across this section (Success Stories) and I about jumped out of my seat at some of the transformations!
After my second child was born in October 2012, I didn't do much as far as trying to lose weight. A month before her first birthday, I got on the scale and realized that I weighed some 50 pounds more than I did before I got pregnant, but also 15 pounds more than I did when I left the hospital after she was born...I'd GAINED 15 pounds! I started the couch to 5K and thought I was going to die (I've never run in my entire life)but I stuck with it and I grew to LOVE running. Then in March 2014, I came across the "women who lift heavy" forum and that gave me the motivation and information I needed to head to the gym and start StrongLifts 5x5. I LOVE lifting now as well. A few setbacks have slowed my progress (knee injury and subsequent surgery in November that I'm STILL working on recovering from), as well as mental blocks. But MFP has always been here for me and it's been exactly what I needed to reach this goal. Now I'm on to do a bit of recomp...
Anyways... I'll stop talking...((Sorry the pics are so big...I cant seem to get them any smaller!))

Omg. I came to the success forum looking for inspiration to restart. This made me tear up. My tummy looks a lot like yours did. I have worried on and off about it sagging after and if I look half as successful as you then I will be very happy. Thank you so much!0
