So I'm kind of new here and I kept seeing everyone discuss weighing food. I finally got a scale and used it for the first time today. It makes ALL the difference. I was totally off on my estimates of food- thankfully I was overestimating most things though!!! Thanks everyone, for convincing me to buy a scale :D

Definitely a necessity. I overestimated things so much. It's great because I can eat more now! :D

Scales are a wonderful thing. When I got mine I noticed some foods when I measured by a cup they were actually more and some things were not even close! Like my protein powder actually takes more than 1 scoop.

yup they are great...I've been using them consistently for 2 years almost...not that I need to now as I am pretty good at estimating most things.

Pasta still gets me tho...rice...potato (mashed)...

but I got some nice surprises when I first got mine...

I can eat more cottage cheese than I thought but cereal made me cry mashed potato still makes me cry.
