Hi there ! My names rachel. You've made great progress so far ! You should be very proud of yourself . we all struggle at times , no matter what point were at in the weight loss process.
I have not had wls, but don't judge others that Have . you should search the private groups on here , there are groups set up for members who have had wls so they can discuss the process without judgement or ridicule. I'd highly suggest reaching out to one of those groups so you can meet people that are in a similar situation as yourself.
Either way , best of luck to you !! You can do this and no, its not always going to be easy but I know you can succeed.0 -
Hello,
Awesome progress so far. You can do it.
In my previous weight loss journey I have lost 80 pounds. I originally lost 100 pounds but I gained a little weight back. I am looking to lose my last 20 pounds and reach my official goal weight before October. Just a little bit about me.
Now about you...
Don't get discouraged. One is only struggling as much as they are willing to struggle. Just remember that once you get into maintenance you can have a cheat meal more often and that it will ALL be worth it in the end. If you "binge" or "overeat" a lot and you feel as if you are going to overeat, one of my favorite strategies is to overeat on a melon. For example eat an entire cantaloupe or muskmelon, even an entire watermelon if you are REALLY craving. This will pretty much stop you from overeating. An entire muskmelon has a lot of volume and not very many calories so you should feel extremely full, satisfied, and happy that you didn't go for something unhealthy like a pint of ice cream.
Also, try to get in some exercise. Even if it is just walking. I literally walked most of my 80 pounds off and I am very thankful that I incorporated exercise because I do not have a lot of loose and saggy skin. Just remember that not everything works for everyone and to KEEP PUSHING!
Best wishes,
