That all depends on how much is "alot". If you're within your carb allowance, you're good.0

I eat rice everyday almost, brown, sushi, white. I love it. As long as you stay within your goals you're cool.0

Nothing wrong with rice if it is within your calorie goal.0

You shouldn't be eating JUST rice... try to eat a good balance of foods, as well as watching your macros. Shoot for 40/30/30 when it comes to carbs/protein/fat to start out. Too much of anything really isn't good. Moderation is the key.0

I'll make rice tonight. Using leftover bell peppers from salads I make for the week, I chop about the equivalent of 1 bell pepper, about half a red onion, a jalapeno and sautee with about 1/2TBS of olive oil. When softened, I add 1 package of Trader Joe's brown steamed rice (2 Cups), one Fruit Naturals cup of mandarin oranges, juice and all, and a bit of jamaican jerk seasoning. Cook long enough to mix everything. Serves 4 at about 160 calories/serving.0

Nothing is really bad as long as you 1. stay within your calorie limits and 2. meet your nutrition requirements.0

You're fine as long as you fit it in your calorie and macro counts. I eat rice and quinoa twice a day. They are delicious, filling, and easy. You will pry my rice cooker from my cold dead hands!0
