Hi Tiffany, my name is Julie. Maybe I can offer a tip or two, you can apply it if you wish, but since no one has responded yet I thought I'd give my two cents
If eating fruits and salads is bothering your allergies there's many other foods out there to help you lose weight. Of course everyone is different, so don't be discouraged. This journey is finding out what works for YOU [and me ]
What do you eat on a daily basis?0 -
Btw, you can add me to message me as well. I may miss your reply!0

Five months is plenty of time to lose weight for a dress that "almost didn't zip". Just set your stuff up accurately (like being honest with your activity level, a lot of people screw themselves with that) and log everything. Don't sweat it. You can do it!0

You just need to eat at a deficit to lose weight, exercise is optional, although its beneficial and helps.
Try starting by learning how to lose weight, this link has a lot of useful advice.

Easy and straightforward if you only have that small amount to lose in that timeframe. How much do you think?
Being active can help your asthma
Eight out of ten people with asthma aren't doing enough exercise, often because they're worried it will trigger their symptoms. But actually exercise can help your asthma, so don't let it hold you back! If your condition is stopping you from exercising see your GP or asthma nurse. They'll be able to check your medicines and help you find ways to get more active.
Exercise can help you:
improve your lung capacity, which will help you to manage your asthma better when you exercise
cope better with everyday chores such as cleaning and shopping, as you'll have more stamina
worry less about your asthma, and give you the confidence to manage your condition.
