Hi everyone, I am a member of the MFP for ages but to be honest I have lost my way more than once.... I have spurts when I am really good, logging everything, exercising only to take my eye off the ball and end up heavier than before!
I have recently been away for a long weekend with my hubby and took loads of pictures which I wanted to put on my facebook page but looking at them personally I think that I am so fat I ended up deleting most of them.
I really need some motivation I want to lose about 7kg and shape up but on the other had I am a middle aged lady so if I lose too much weight I am scared that some wrinkles will get bigger !

Motivation is something that has to come from you. You need to find why you really really want to lose weight, and just stay focused on that. Maybe you have a specific dress size in mind, maybe you have an event you want to be in better shape for. Whatever it is that makes you want to lose weight, focus on that and remember that every choice you make will take you closer to or further from that goal.0

Moisturizer and sunscreen and get out there and exercise. My feeling is I need to feel good and live a long life. I actually have been told I look younger after losing weight even though a few of the wrinkles seem bigger to me. It may be that I have more energy and just feel better about myself or just that I am healthier and have better blood flow to my skin.0

I'm on again too, starting today. The weight tends to creep back on if I don't track, etc. just need to take off about 10lbs, maybe 15 actually, to get back to the middle of my healthy weight range. I hear ya on the middle age thing- turning 50 this year!0

I've done that too. That's why I don't show as having lost any as I joined years ago at 10 stone 4.
This is the first time I've used the boards and it is helping. Don't feel like it's a secret and it would be harder to give up now.0 -
Ladies thank you for sharing and your words of encouragement. I am really determined to stay on track this time. I really hate myself and the way I look at the moment0
