The weekend be the hardest to not go over my calorie goal is because I only work out during the week and not weekends. Does any have food that they can recommend me that is low in calories for the weekend only? Thanks

Veggies, lean protein, beans. How far over your calorie goal are you going? Can you squeeae in a walk or some light activity?

I've started calorie cycling so that I'm tracking weekly instead of daily. I find I want to splurge on the weekends, so I consume slightly less during the week so I can consume slightly more during the weekend. It gives me a little more flux. As far as low calorie foods go, up your veggies. You can eat a HUGE salad of greens and veggies for very little calories. Top it with lean protein (shrimp, salmon, chicken breast, beans) and you're set! Just be careful to avoid high calorie toppings or dressings.

This x100. I've found that saving 100 calories a few days of the week means I can go over on the days I'm more hungry and not have to feel guilty at all

Weight loss became so much easier for me when I stopped fighting the need to eat/drink higher calorie on the weekend. I eat low calorie all week, just so I can eat higher on the weekends.

I also only have a small lunch throughout the day so I can have a decent dinner in the evenings.

When I made those adjustments, I started losing much more consistently.
