Mfp app is super slow?

Is anyone else experiencing an incredibly slow app? I just updated it two days ago and whenever it opens on the start page it just freezes. Sometimes it works after a solid 2-3 minutes, but as soon as I go to add food or change settings it gets stuck loading very slowly for some reason. Regardless if it's on five bar Verizon connection or my own wifi.

Just super confused and frustrated!
