is it bad to exercise with a cold?

so i have the flu and my body is achy & sore,(not as bad as it has been lately though), i have a sore throat & some trouble breathing, and a runny nose (i don't have a fever) i really want to do zumba today. is it safe?

I have been told by doctors if the cold is neck up then it's safe to exercise. However, if it's a chest issue then don't exercise!0
