What the heck was this strange thing

So I have been running three times a week. I have come so far. I have lost 39 and have 12 to go.

I was getting out of the shower and I put my hand on my waist. I noticed this hard lump on my side. I panicked. I ran to the mirror and was surprised to see that there these hard lumps on both of my sides.

I then realized, oh my that was the beginning of my pelvic bone and my hip. I had no idea I had lost it and I was so happy to see it again. Almost did a cartwheel.

I mean I remember when my thighs stopped running together but feeling the bones in the proper place again made me want to cry.

    Congrats for you re-discovery!

I am really glad that you posted this! I had a similar experience. I hadn't been noticing the difference in my body t until I found my hip bones this week. And I was thinking, "wow, that's weird -- they're back!" I hadn't realized how much "padding" I had put on in this spot!

I was also thinking that no one really seems to mention the hip bones on this site -- until now, that is!

    Hurrah for hips!

Now THIS is truly inspiring! I don't know that even at birth I didn't have some kind of "baby" fat surrounding my hip bones...but hey...what a goal to aspire to!! Good for you!!

This is some great results... I have started running too and I am wondering how long did it take you to lose the 39 pounds?
