It's a laxative. Just drink a lot of water and eat more fiber and save your money.0

I read that on another forum! Thanks Hun!! Is there something specific I should eat with fiber? I'm new to the whole diet thing. I've never needed to lose weight before but it kind of added on real fast! Lol0

Vegetables, fruit like raspberries, beans, avocado, oatmeal... all good sources of fiber.

Nope nope nope. If you wouldn't go to the pharmacy and buy laxatives to chow on to lose weight (and I sincerely hope you wouldn't), then don't buy into the teatox.0

It states right on their FAQ that it's a laxative.

I know I overloaded on pistachios one day. Man I was paying for it next morning. Thankfully I live alone so didn't have to rush. So yeah, nuts are great for loosening up some stuff0

It's not bad, it's just unusual. They're joking around with you because most posters who ask about detoxes end up shouting at us and calling people names when they're told they don't work. Thank you for listening and being open minded to what we have to say :flowerforyou:

Just be aware that eating foods with lots of fiber, while good, won't lead to fat loss on its own. You have to be in a caloric deficit (meaning burning more calories throughout the day than you consume). Log your food, maintain a reasonable deficit and you'll start to see sustainable results.0

Ok, thank you! Today's my first day on here so far I've logged all my foods. It says I need 1,400 calories a day. I feel that's a little higher than usual but I'll do it. I thought it should be like 1,200. Idk though.0

1,200 is the standard for a lot of weight loss programs because it creates a very large deficit. The problem with eating 1,200 calories a day is it is not a sustainable way to lose weight. Sure the weight may come off a little faster, but you'll most likely be feeling hungry and more likely to binge on foods.
I tried doing 1,200 as a 5'2" girl and it wasn't enough for me, I ended up upping mine to 1,600. It's not a huge deficit, but it's aided by exercise, and the weight is coming off slowly but surely! Don't be afraid to adjust the number to fit your needs!0 -

It will have calculated that based on your weight, height, age and activity level, all of which you entered when you signed up.0
