How to enter rice

When entering rice as a meal, do you put how many grams they weigh before cooking or after?

Follow the nutritional info on the bag/box. If it refers to cooked rice, then put it in as cooked. Usually, though - or, at least for the ones that I've paid attention to - show the info for raw/uncooked rice.

I imagine you could do it either way, but I prefer to do it after. I usually cook more than one serving at a time so can put it the weight of what I have.

I make one serving at a time and I weigh before cooking it.

I was worried I might be "cheating" if I put the before weight. Thanks for clearing that up!

Before. If you are cooking it in something with calories, you should log that also. If making it with water then no additional calories would be necessary.

I added my own entry for my race, based on cooked info. Not raw.
