Waist training

I recently purchased a latex work out waist trainer , and would love some advice on how often do wear it, I currently only wear it during my workouts, and defiantly feel like I sweat more from my mid stomach region . Do you wear the waist trainer over a shirt ? And how often would you wash/clean it and wouldn't you have to after sweating in? Any advice would be awesome !

Well, this sounds like a dumb idea.0

I believe that the only thing these do is make you lose water weight, and it will go right back as you eat and drink again. These do not help you lose fat. I don't think it has any permanent benefit, which is why people will tell you not to waste your time with it.0

As soon as I saw this.......
OK let me fill you in QUICK!
People here don't take kindly to "quick fixes". We do it the hard good ol way. Calorie deficit working out. The stuff that's proven scientifically. No wraps no trainers no detoxes no fad diets. BECAUSE THEY DONT WORK. OK I'm going to leave now.

It doesn't really matter because it doesn't work
what it does is make you sweat whilst constricting you .. so you may have a temporary reduction in your waist size until you next drink a glass of water that is
if you want a short-term fix try corsetry or spanx style underwear
if you want to wear your waist trainer do .. but seriously now, quick-fixes fix nothing0 -
Hi
As the others have said- it's just a temporary thing- you lose water through sweating. Its the same thing as those seaweed-wraps you see at spas. It works if you have a special event to go to and need to fit into a dress- but the size will be back to normal by the next morning.
To clean latex you need a specialist latex cleaner which you can find on the internet or in seedy shops, at a push mild baby shampoo may work. Latex is plant- based and will disintergrate through contact with oil (so no baby oil). It will also discolour when in contact with metal. You should store your latex garments in a cool dry and dark place - preferably wrapped in acid-free tissue.0 -
Unfortunately you don't sweat out fat so the amount of sweat doesn't correlate with the amount of fat loss, it's really just a signal that your body is hot.0 -

I generally workout about two/three hours everyday ( mixture of cardio and weight training) and eat about 1200 calories diet ( eat clean) the past couple months I've felt like I've lost weight in almost every part of my body expect my stomach which was partly getting me down. I'd heard loads of great reviews about waist Trainer and wanted to try it out myself . I know it's only a TEMPORARY fix ! But It's just wanted to get into shape by summer and the extra boost to lose inches off my mid section ! Waist training isn't for everyone but I've honestly had a positive experience for far !! I would love to hear about other peoples experiences while waist training aswell and there upkeep.0

There's a woman that goes to my gym... Hers is hot pink, and she wears it over her shirts... I just imagine it makes you sweat more, which would be totally uncomfortable for me.
From what I've heard, it doesn't do much, and it doesn't stick... But if you're looking for a temporary fix, then go for it.0 -

It will ultimately weaken abdominal and back muscles. It can lead to atrophy and pain. You have been warned.0
