Protein powder/shakes

Hi
I don't lift at all. I do cardio and core trainings that don't involve lifting. My question is whether if it is really important to incorporate protein shakes into my nutrition regardless. Would protein intake per day be useful for me in terms of more lean, etc? Or would it be useless?
Thanks!

That would depend on how much protein you are already getting in your normal diet.0

Well I do eat protein, but not in a crazy amount. Approximately 20-30% of my daily nutrition is protein0

You really need a Protien shake as there are many foods that will give you the right amounts of protein that you need. However, if you want to try them there are a lot of good protein shakes out there that you can try.0
