Hi everyone
I did some searching through the message boards and I haven't found my answer to my question. I have a Vivofit that logs my steps into MFP tracker, I was wonder if I go for a 3 mile walk do I log this as exercise or should I just let my Vivofit track the steps as part of my normal steps for the day ?

I hope this makes sense

Thanks

I have read and reread the calorie adjustment from the vivofit as it appears in MFP, and it is still very confusing. Hopefully someone has an answer.
  • Mine logs it itself if I go over my goal.

My vivofit does add my steps into my exercise tracker, but should I log the walk as a separate activity or just let the vivofit track the steps from it and not log it as an exercise ?

I don't want to double dip on activity and I dont eat them so Im not concerned about that.

yea it does it for you so you would be double logging, if I am reading your post correctly.

I have a garmin too. Mine logs my steps. If I walk, I don't log it again on mfp but if I did any jogging or running then I add that even though they are still steps
