Can anyone please help, I have bought some new trainers, Asics same brand gel Cumulus but previous had Gel Pulse. I have only worn my new trainers four times and when I have been in body attack and grit classes my calf muslce has felt like its going to pop.
Have I got the wrong trainer, and should trainers need breaking in when they are new?

They're a running shoe, generally I find you need a more general trainer for general gym work (much more lateral movement involved).0

You may want a more general cross-training shoe for classes that have lateral movements and jumping.
Also try doing some self-myofascial release and stretching of your calves before and after the workouts.0
