Eat at a caloric deficit. Drink plenty of water to help your liver and kidneys do their job. Repeat daily.0

Go with the "3F" detox: make sure you get enough fat, fiber, and fluids to allow your body to do its job. Otherwise, eat at a calorie deficit to lose the weight.

This.
If you want to focus on health and nutrition, try to eat a balanced diet with enough protein and fat and lots of vegetables and fruit.0 -

I pretty healthy and fit...never done a detox...detoxing is a marketing gimmick; nothing more, nothing less.bellezza__xoxo wrote: »What exactly is a calorie deficit?
A calorie is a unit of energy...your body requires XXXX amount of energy per day for you to exist...to get out of bed and do your daily stuff...to exercise, etc. When you consume less energy than your body requires to do all of these things, you burn fat (stored energy) to make up the difference.
For example, With my BMR (around 1800 calories) and my day to day stuff and my exercise, I maintain on roughly 2800 calories per day. If I eat 2,300 calories per day, I will lose weight at a rate of around 1 Lb per week because I am in a calorie deficit of 500 calories (2800 - 2300 = 500) and 500 * 7 - 3500 calories...the rough estimate of the weekly deficit required to lose about a pound per week.0 -
I watched this yesterday: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pUqyCY2N8fs
Two groups, one did a detox program, one did not. They compared the results. The detoxers suffered for nothing.

Detoxes: If you can't spell them, don't do them! (For the foodbabe fans)

I don't care if you're the spelling bee champeen of the world, still don't do them.0 -

Hey, it's her $50 and we didn't try the detox first to see if it works so why are we commenting?
OP: I could be mistaken but I seem to remember another thread from you that was asking questions covered quite well in the various "stickied' posts that are at the top of each forum. The stickies definitely cover what a "caloric deficit" is.
Not sure if they cover peep trolling.0 -
