Too much of a good thing?

My fiancée thinks that I am working out too much during the week. This is what a typical workout schedule looks like for me:
Monday- HIIT and Yoga
Tuesday- Barre and Boxing and maybe some Yoga
Wednesday- HIIT, Barre and Yoga
Thursday-Boxing and Yoga
Friday-HIIT and Yoga
Saturday-Barre and Yoga
Sunday-Rest day
I am eating enough based on how my body feels, I have plenty of energy and I feel happy. I understand his concern, but is this too much exercise in a week for someone?

This is hard to assess based on what names. Intensity is determined based on a few variables, effort, time, and how long you’ve been training. If you’ve built up to this level, then the short answer is no, you’re not overtraining.
I’ll go through each as I understand them and you can take form that what you want.
- Yoga - There are various versions, but probably okay to do practically every day.
- Barre - Don’t know much about this but not too intense.
- Boxing - This can be very intense, but depends on how you apply it. Shadow boxing isn’t nearly as intense as heavy bag or sparing.
- HIIT - By far the most intense. If done right, should only be incorporated once or twice per week and should likely be the only program you do that day.
So, my only concern is when you are doing HIIT and something else on the same day. I can’t manage to pull off another workout the days I do HIIT.0 -
Even on my HIIT days, Yoga is relaxing for me and I try to do at least 20 minutes of it and the end of my workout. Barre is not super intense however it does make you work, but not as crazy at HIIT. My HRM usually puts my heart rate when performing HIIT anywhere between 175-190, depending how far I push myself.0

I think this is more of an issue of "why aren't you spending enough time with me?" and jealousy more than anything. Maybe that's not the case, but that's my opinion.
Especially if your partner isn't as active as you.0 -
I agree with the above statement. Also, everyone has different fitness goals. I'm up at 5:30am and in the gym 6 days a week. I get comments from friends and family about my training and eating habits. Some people don't understand it and think you look fine...0
