Boost Metabolism

Hello, Everyone…

I was wondering if anyone has any ways of boosting your metabolism and making yourself poop everyday or every other day naturally. My main problem is not going to the bathroom naturally. I would only poop once a week, and feel like a big balloon. Any advice? Or stories of your own you can share… Am i alone in this battle ?

    I do not see what metabolism and pooping has to do together.
    For pooping I say eat more fibers and drink more water.
    To boost metabolism, add muscle mass

    Pooping isn't related to metabolism.

    Do you mean increase peristalsis and digestion?
    Go run. Practice a sport regularly.
    Play with your fiber intake.
    Eat more vegetables and fruit.
    Increase water intake.
    Coffee.

    I already do all of that, i workout everyday.. and i am told i drink to much water which is bazaar !

    Metabolism - Exercise. Only way to boost it.
    Pooping. Fat and fiber. Miracle cure.

    yes that is what i started doing, i added flax seed meal to my smoothies and oats.. as well i take a probiotic pill every morning. As well, I have activia now.

    What is too much water intake for you?
    Adjust your fiber means either increase OR decrease. Too much fiber can be as bad as too little.

    Oh, and that's souk. ;)

    Have you abused laxatives in the past? That can cause you to have trouble going on your own.

    If nothing is working, see your doctor.

    Chia seeds (and you must drink a lot of liquids if you're going to use them) are wonderful for getting things moving. I also have a tablespoon in my oatmeal every morning.

    Eat healthy fats, try to cook your veggies at least a little to get your body used to them, but load up... and keep SUPER hydrated. As far as revving up metabolism, they say peppers and spices do it for you... I don't know whether it's true or not, but I find them delicious so I eat them anyway!

    What's your secret? I poop like 5 times a day. It's horrible.

    Some people, including me, do not poo daily. My regular is once every 7-10 days. I've talked to my doctor and he said not everyone goes every day. I eat plenty of veggies, often have chia seeds and protein powder in my smoothies, which do nothing to help you go and/or become regular. Ground flax seed does work for me, however, I don't like the gritty texture. I don't worry about not going, it is what it is. When I tell you I'm full of s*it, I really am. :)
