Why am I so thirsty

When I drink soda I am rarely ever thirsty however, since I switched to water I am always so dam thirsty. Ill take a sip of water and a second later be dying of thirst I don't get it its irritating. Anyone know the reason behind this?

Its a good thing to drink lots of water your getting more efficient. I drink at least 1 gallon of water everyday.. Congrats!!!0

Drink all the water you want. I drink about 3/4 of a gallon a day.0

I've never heard of water causing thirst.
High blood sugar can cause excessive thirst. It's often a first sign of diabetes. Some medications can cause thirst. Too much sodium can also.0
