I've heard that prune juice is good for cleansing out the body, but it's also got lots of sugar. Will it help or hurt my weight loss?

It's just like any other food. You know how to lose weight and you know how many calories you are going to drink so only you can tell if it will hurt your weight loss.

Cleansing....what!? Makes no sense. What is cleansing?

If you are having issues with constipation it can help but I believe it is the magnesium in it that moves things along.

Your body "cleanses" itself. Prune juice has calories doesn't it? I don't drink my calories, I like food.

Too many calories hurts your weight loss - whether they are from juice or candy bars or anything else.

You took the words right out of my mouth...or in this case, my fingers

Many people find the appearance and the taste to be disgusting. If you eat a diet full of fruits and vegetables, coupled with plenty of exercise and lots of water, you shouldn't have trouble with constipation.

I'm like Lis.... I would rather eat my calories than drink them.

I never got what was so bad about prunes. I think they're really tasty, and prune juice is good too. The bad thing is they are both ultra high in sugar and calories, so watch out with em!
